Liverpool made eight changes for their Premier League fixture with West Ham United, with Cody Gakpo returning to the starting line-up.

The forward was back in the XI after missing the Reds' last two matches with a shoulder injury. Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Virgil van Dijk were the only players to retain their places from the team that beat Bournemouth 9-0 in their previous match.

Liverpool's dominance was evident from the start, and they took the lead in the 22nd minute when Curtis Jones fired home from close range. The Reds continued to create chances and extended their lead in the 38th minute when Mohamed Salah scored from the penalty spot.

Liverpool added three more goals in the second half, with Gakpo getting on the scoresheet in the 50th minute. Nunez and Salah added further goals to complete the rout.
