2024 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments Conclude
The battle for the final spots at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 Men's Basketball tournament has come to an end, with four teams securing their place in the coveted field.
Over the past few months, 24 national teams competed in the 2024 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. These tournaments, held in four different countries, served to determine the four teams that would fill the remaining berths in the Olympic tournament.
The qualifying tournaments were highly competitive, with some of the top basketball nations in the world vying for a chance to represent their countries at the Games. The final four teams that emerged victorious were:
- Greece
- Latvia
- Italy
- Canada
These teams will join the other eight teams that have already qualified for the Olympic tournament through their performance in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023: United States, France, Spain, Australia, Argentina, Slovenia, Iran, and Japan.
The Olympic basketball tournament will be held from August 2 to August 10, 2024, at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. The top teams in the world will compete for the coveted gold medal, with the United States seeking to extend their dominance in the sport.
