Bill Maher, the American comedian and political commentator, has had a series of high-profile relationships over the years. One of his most well-known relationships was with Canadian singer and performer Kaya Jones, who he was linked to in the mid-2000s. Jones was a former member of the Pussycat Dolls and met Maher through a mutual friend.
From 2009 to 2011, Maher dated Cara Santa Maria, a science communicator, journalist, and television host. Santa Maria is known for her work on the podcast Skeptics.
Maher has also been romantically linked to Anjulie Persaud, a Canadian singer-songwriter of Guyanese and Indian descent. Persaud and Maher reportedly dated in 2019.
Despite his many relationships, Maher has never been married. In a 2019 interview with Howard Stern, Maher said that he thinks of marriage as a "trap" and that he prefers to have relationships that are more open and fluid.
