A project group has been tasked with developing guidelines to prevent outbreaks of Listeria monocytogenes.
New Reporting Requirements
Effective immediately, the following are now reportable:
- Detection of Listeria monocytogenes in food product residues
- Detection of Listeria monocytogenes in swab samples from food processing equipment
Zoonosis Reporting Criteria
The following zoonoses meet the reporting criteria under the Zoonosis Ordinance:
- Listeria monocytogenes
